A change of shifts meant that I was off up the road again before I had barely got back last night. Ah well, these things happen, and as it was only a three miler, no big deal.
I know I keep twining about it, but my toe is really sore, and I simply don't know what to do to alleviate it. Stumped, I am.
Anyway, here's the run.
Is it bad enough to go see the surgery nurse? - If not then ice it, nurofen and before running put some "cold effect" gel like Bio Freeze on it.
ReplyDelete3 miles again? - Periodisation is your friend :D
It probably is bad enough for the practise nurse to be honest, but last time I saw her, for a referral to physio, she poisoned me with some pills (anti-inflammatories) that I didn't want and I landed in hospital. Not good.
ReplyDeleteTo be fair, it wasn't her fault, and I appreciate that she was trying to help - but it has kinda put me off!!
I think I am gonna have to take Dr Mun's advice and go with some ice gel. Nurofen disagrees with me but I could try dipping my toe in pineapple juice....
