Planned my route based on last weeks ten miler, having realised that if I took the minor detour onto Red Lonning I should be on 8 miles as I come back round to the Highlands. (Only a twit would plan to run UP the highlands at the end of a run, so always plan to end at the bottom!)
Got to the path at just over 8 miles and couldn't stop smiling as I walked back up to home. Felt as pleased as the very first time I ever ran this far. I must admit my legs feel a bit weary but I had taken it easy and should still be able to manage the rest of the runs for this week.
Woo hoo then.
